We are looking for an experienced senior commercial leader who can combine strategic thinking with a pragmatic, hands-on approach. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing business at a pivotal stage in its development. With ambitious growth plans, the business is investing in its commercial structure and is looking for someone who can help shape and deliver the strategy for its next phase of growth.
This is a broad and influential role, taking ownership of the commercial function across the UK and Europe and working closely with the senior leadership team to shape strategy, sales, marketing, pricing and business development, while building the infrastructure and team to support continued growth and make a genuine impact.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver the commercial strategy across the The UK and European markets
  • Own commercial budgets, revenue planning and key commercial KPIs
  • Lead the marketing strategy and its contribution to lead generation and the commercial pipeline
  • Develop pricing strategy, commercial policies and governance
  • Oversee commercial contracts, tenders and strategic agreements
  • Identify new markets, routes to market and strategic partnerships
  • Lead the commercial aspects of new product launches and go-to-market plans
  • Lead and develop the senior sales function, ensuring commercial strategy translates into successful sales delivery
  • Help shape the future commercial organisation, identifying the people, capabilities and resources required as the business grows
  • Work closely with the senior leadership team to support wider commercial initiatives
Experience of developing business across UK and European markets is essential, together with a strong understanding of European customers, channels and routes to market.

  • Significant experience in a senior commercial leadership position
  • A strong track record of developing and delivering commercial, sales and marketing strategies
  • Excellent commercial and financial acumen
  • Experience of identifying and developing new markets and growth opportunities
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience of strategic commercial agreements

  • A collaborative, solutions-focused approach and the resilience to navigate the challenges that come with a growing international business

Basic Salary plus Bonus - There is flexibility on salary for the right person.

Candidates must live within a reasonable commuting distance of Fleet, Hampshire, as this is an office-based role. Applicants must also already have the right to work in the UK, as visa sponsorship is not available.
