You will join a London-based Local Authority as an experienced Head of Economic Development, leading the delivery of economic growth and regeneration priorities across the borough.
 
This is a senior leadership opportunity for an experienced economic development professional who can provide strategic direction, develop partnerships, and drive forward regeneration initiatives that support investment, growth, and placemaking ambitions.
 
You will be responsible for shaping and delivering economic strategies, developing regeneration pipelines, supporting masterplans, and working with key stakeholders including businesses, public sector partners, and wider regional organisations to maximise economic opportunities.
 
The successful candidate will be an experienced leader, able to manage teams, oversee complex programmes, develop business cases, secure investment opportunities, and provide expert advice to senior stakeholders and Members.
 
Role Specific
·Hybrid working offered, with office attendance required 2-3 times per week
Initial 6-month rolling contract
Senior Local Authority Economic Development / Regeneration experience essential
·Experience leading economic strategies, regeneration programmes, and investment opportunities required
·Strong stakeholder management and partnership-building skills required
·Experience managing teams, budgets, and complex projects
 
Carrington West Pay Rate - £500-600 per day (Umbrella)
