• £105,000 - £115,000 + 10% bonus + 8% pension. Bonus is consistent so earnings well over £120,000

This is a 6,000 headcount multinational business that operates in the medical device, chemical engineering, electronics and aerospace sectors. You MUST have experience in highly regulated manufacturing environments (any exposure to clean rooms would also be beneficial). You will be Site leader for a 60 headcount business unit. 

The Opportunity : Head of manufacturing / Production Director jobs role

• We are seeking a highly experienced Site Manager / Operations Director -level leader to take full responsibility for a complex, 24/7 manufacturing operation within a highly regulated, precision engineering environment.
• This is a senior leadership role with full site accountability, overseeing production, engineering, supply chain, logistics, quality, and Health, Safety & Environment performance.
• It's a highly successful 60 headcount business (part of a large international group). It's 24/7 manufacturing - small batch - bespoke / complex and regulated manufacturing.

Candidate background: Head of Manufacturing jobs role

• We are open to Site Managers, Operations Directors, Plant Managers or Senior Manufacturing Leaders who bring:
• Strong background in chemical, engineering, electronics, semiconductor, or similarly regulated manufacturing (medical, oil and gas, aero etc)
• Leadership experience in complex manufacturing environments - where quality standards are very high 
• Strong Lean / CI track record (Six Sigma desirable)
• Within 1 hour approx. of Kirkcaldy / Glenrothes region
