East Midlands | Permanent | On site | £70,000 to £85,000 depending on experience, plus uncapped bonus

A successful, privately owned UK finance group is looking for a hands on Head of Marketing Operations to own its day to day marketing and turn it into a genuine lead generation engine. This is a senior, high impact role with real ownership and the backing to make marketing count.

This is a hands on, commercial and delivery focused role, not a brand role. You will own the day to day marketing function and the integrated campaign plan, and your success will be measured simply, by high quality leads that convert into new business. You will run the daily operation and get into the detail yourself, so that marketing consistently delivers pipeline and revenue.

What you will do

• Own and manage the day to day marketing function and the integrated, multi channel campaign plan.
• Drive lead generation, and review and improve campaign performance from one campaign to the next.
• Manage email marketing, direct mail, sector marketing, advertising, exhibitions, and digital and PPC activity.
• Use the website as an organic lead generation tool and campaign landing point.
• Report on marketing performance and return on investment using analytics, and run test and learn to improve results.
• Manage and develop a small marketing team, and work closely with brand and technology colleagues.

What you will bring

• A strong track record in business to business marketing, with demand generation and lead generation at its core.
• A genuinely hands on, commercial and sales focused approach. You are happy to run the day to day and get into the detail rather than sit above it.
• Experience owning a lead or pipeline number and proving marketing's contribution to revenue.
• Team management experience, with strong numeracy and data literacy.
• Experience in financial services, lending or another regulated environment is an advantage, including an understanding of financial promotions.

Location

This is an on site role based in the East Midlands. Exceptional candidates may be considered above the advertised range.
