Safer Hand Solutions are partnered with a forward-thinking and dynamic organisation that is seeking an ambitious and hands-on Head of Operations to join their senior leadership team.

The Role Reporting into the HR Director, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day operational delivery of services across multiple teams, ensuring high standards of quality, productivity, customer service, and performance are consistently achieved.

You will play a key role in translating business strategy into actionable plans, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring operational excellence remains at the heart of everything the business delivers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop a team of operational managers.
  • Drive performance, productivity, and service standards across operational functions.
  • Oversee resource planning, workload management, and operational delivery.
  • Analyse KPIs and performance data to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Implement sustainable solutions to operational challenges.
  • Lead change initiatives and support the successful adoption of new processes and systems.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and contractual requirements.
About You To be successful in this role, you will possess:
  • At least 5 years' experience within an operational leadership or service delivery environment.
  • Experience managing managers and developing high-performing teams.
  • A proven track record of improving operational performance and delivering results.
  • Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience leading teams through change and transformation.
  • The ability to remain calm, decisive, and focused under pressure.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
