Ballantine Recruitment is partnering with a leading UK manufacturer to appoint a Head of Packaging Innovation.

This is a strategic leadership role offering the opportunity to drive packaging innovation, sustainability and continuous improvement within a growing business committed to quality and innovation.

You'll lead the packaging strategy, working closely with cross-functional teams to develop commercially successful packaging solutions from concept through to launch. This is an opportunity to influence business-wide decisions, introduce new technologies and play a key role in the company's future growth.

The Role

• Lead the packaging innovation strategy across the business.
• Drive sustainability initiatives and material innovation.
• Deliver packaging projects from concept through to commercial launch.
• Work closely with Commercial, Technical, NPD, Marketing, Operations and Supply Chain teams.
• Build strong supplier relationships and identify emerging packaging technologies.
• Ensure packaging solutions meet commercial, technical and regulatory requirements.

About You

You'll be an experienced packaging professional with a background in Food or FMCG manufacturing, capable of balancing innovation, technical excellence and commercial objectives.

You'll have:

• Proven experience delivering packaging innovation.
• Strong knowledge of sustainable packaging materials and technologies.
• Excellent project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
• The ability to influence at all levels and drive meaningful change.
