Escape is recruiting for a senior project leader to take ownership of a growing PMO function within a fast-paced, highly regulated environment. This is a key leadership role sitting close to the Site Leadership Team, with real influence over delivery, performance and future growth.

You will be responsible for driving the successful delivery of complex, customer-facing projects while helping shape how the PMO operates as the business expands. Initially hands-on, this role has clear scope to build and lead a project management team over time.

You will be someone who naturally drives results and takes ownership and comfortable operating at both strategic and operational levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead delivery of multiple complex projects across a regulated environment
  • Act as a key member of the Site Leadership Team, contributing to site strategy and performance
  • Ensure robust project governance, planning, budgeting and resource control
  • Manage senior stakeholder and customer relationships throughout the project lifecycle
  • Oversee risk, issues and change control, ensuring projects stay on track
  • Support commercial growth through input into proposals and customer bids
  • Drive consistency in project delivery methods and best practice
  • Support and guide project managers across active programmes
  • Ensure GMP / regulated standards are fully embedded in project delivery
  • Lead lessons learned and continuous improvement across the function

Knowledge and experience for the role:

  • Strong project leadership experience in pharmaceuticals, life sciences, medical devices, animal health or other regulated manufacturing environments
  • Solid understanding of GMP and compliance-driven project delivery
  • Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder customer projects
  • Confident communicator with strong influencing and negotiation skills
  • Experience working at pace with competing priorities and tight timelines
  • Ability to operate strategically while still being delivery-focused
  • Project management qualification (PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent)
  • Experience with planning tools such as Microsoft Project

Why apply:

  • Senior leadership role with genuine influence across the business
  • Opportunity to build and shape a PMO function from an early stage
  • High visibility role working closely with senior stakeholders and customers
  • Varied, complex project portfolio in a growing organisation
  • On-site role (3 days per week in Dundee) with flexibility built around delivery
