Our client, a leading provider of facilities services in the UK, is seeking an experienced Head of Procurement Business Partnering to lead the Procurement Business Partnering function and support the successful delivery of bids, transitions, and mobilisation activities across key accounts.

Working closely with commercial teams, you'll ensure procurement solutions are aligned, deliverable, and positioned to provide maximum value throughout the outsourcing contract lifecycle.

The Role

As part of an evolving Supply Chain and Procurement function, this role will play a key part in developing a value-led procurement approach that supports strategic growth and strengthens client partnerships.

Leading a team of Procurement Business Partners, you'll work collaboratively with account teams, clients, and internal stakeholders to support successful bids, effective mobilisation, operational performance, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Procurement Business Partnering support across commercial bids, ensuring procurement solutions and value propositions are aligned and deliverable.
  • Support the mobilisation and transition of major contract wins, ensuring Supply Chain and Procurement activities are ready for successful implementation.
  • Manage and develop a growing team of Supply Chain and Procurement Business Partners, including colleagues embedded within client account teams.
  • Define and deliver account-specific strategic priorities in collaboration with account leadership teams.
  • Drive procurement and supply chain objectives through clear action plans, progress tracking, reporting, and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with commercial and sales teams to support bid strategies, manage expectations, and ensure procurement value is effectively represented.
  • Drive supplier performance, compliance, strategic sourcing activity, savings initiatives, and additional value creation opportunities.
  • Develop and enhance business partnering processes by leveraging best practice across procurement teams.

  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build effective relationships and collaborate with internal and external teams.
  • Proven people management experience, with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop a growing team.
  • Strong understanding of procurement and supply chain principles, with experience partnering with commercial teams.
  • Experience supporting bid processes, mobilisation, transitions, and contract lifecycle activities.
  • Ability to collaborate with commercial and sales teams while effectively managing expectations.
  • A strategic and analytical approach, with the ability to develop fact-based supply chain strategies.
  • Experience driving supplier performance, compliance, savings initiatives, and value creation opportunities.
