TXM Recruit is currently recruiting for an experienced Head of Programmes to join a leading engineering organisation in Saffron Walden.
Reporting to the Group Technical & Engineering Director, you will lead multiple cross-functional projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate multiple engineering projects from initiation to completion.
- Develop project plans, budgets, resources and schedules.
- Manage risks, issues and project performance.
- Lead internal teams and third-party suppliers.
- Manage key stakeholder relationships and provide senior-level reporting.
- Drive continuous improvement across project management processes.
- Mentor and develop project team members.
- 5+ years' project/programme management experience.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience managing budgets, resources and project risks.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Waterfall methodologies.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Engineering/technical environment experience desirable.
- PMP, PRINCE2 or Agile certification desirable.
