About the Job

To lead the existing operational undertakings of Lampton Recycle 360 Limited and contribute to the wider success of the Lampton 360 Group through involvement in various senior leadership team activities.







Key Responsibilities include:


  • Performance of the £11M LBH Waste & Recycling Collections, negotiations, variations and delivery of new projects, efficiency savings. Advising client on waste and environmental matters and partnership contribution to LBH waste strategy, local environmental quality improvement and various other initiatives. Ensuring ongoing compliance with government waste strategy and environmental legislation framework.


  • Development of MHF operations to maintain high quality throughput and safe working practices in compliance with relevant EA Waste Permit, Fire Prevention, Planning, H&S and other applicable legislation including status as a ‘named person’ or duty holder in a variety of aspects such as permit Technically Competent person, Legionella, Fire Risk Assessment etc. Site primary keyholder.


  • Supporting the development of commercial waste collections and related business to business activities delivered through the operational workforce activities under variety of reporting managers and supervisors in the R360 business. 


  • Change management, strategic business planning, including business development and contribution to relevant Lampton strategies, plans and initiatives. Development and implementation of actions and initiatives in accordance with R360 and Lampton plans.


  • Contribution to the wider success of Lampton Group through collaboration with senior colleagues and board members.Pursuit of other business opportunities as appropriate in accordance with agreed business plans. 


  • Responsible for the Health and Safety and wellbeing of R360 employees, customers and public with regard to the activities of R360.


  • Profit and loss, budget management, compliant procurement, specifying goods and services, demonstrating value for money. Increasing turnover and company value.


  • Development and implementation of policies, procedures, processes etc



Education & Qualifications:


  • Minimum of 5 GSCES at grade C or above (or equivalent qualification) including Maths and English
  • Member of the Chartered Institute of Waste Management
  • IOSH Managing Safely
  • Driving Licence
  • First degree in a relevant subject.
  • Significant professional experience in lieu of formal management qualification.
