UK based remote working with international travel
T2M Resourcing have been appointed to recruit for a Head of Risk & Internal Audit for a successful global engineering services business. With a global remit as Head of Risk & Internal Audit you will report directly to the Group Chief Financial Officer and be impactful directly influencing Board decisions.

- £80,000 to £90,000 + Car/Car Allowance + Bonus & Benefits Package
As Head of Risk & Internal Audit key aspects of the role will include the following:
- will develop and implement the Group Internal Audit and Risk Plan, with a focus on improving the control design and operational effectiveness of controls over key strategic and operational risk areas.
- perform and communicate risk-based audit reviews of financial, operational, commercial and reputational compliance.
Be the person providing cost-effective recommendations to mitigate the risks and control weaknesses identified during the review process.
- and maintaining the Group’s Strategic Risk Register, as well as tracking the progress of Management’s implementation of action plans to address key risks within the Corporate Risk Register.
- and present clear and concise findings to the Group CFO, including identification of practical recommendations and solutions.
- with key projects across the organization to ensure risks are considered and appropriately mitigated and keeping up to date with significant risk and control issues, as well as trends and developments in the wider industry.
To be successful as Head of Risk & Internal Audit you will have the following skills, experience and attributes:
- proven track record of success as Head of Risk & Internal Audit on a global basis.
- and the ability to swiftly facilitate engagement across the business, whilst still maintaining the discipline, impartiality and service orientation required for this position.
- understanding of internal controls, audit protocols and risk management frameworks.
- the ability to keep the business safety overseeing the execution of audit engagements end to end, including global audits across different regions.
- role would be best suited to someone with prior experience of working in one of the following sectors: engineering, automotive, manufacturing, construction sectors
