Head of Sales

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a commercially driven Head of Sales to lead a global product sales function within a market-leading engineering and infrastructure business. This is a senior leadership role with full responsibility for driving revenue growth, margin performance, and strategic direction.
You will play a pivotal role in shaping the global sales strategy, leading an international team, and building strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders across multiple regions.
The role
- Lead, develop and execute the global product sales strategy in line with revenue and profit targets
- Manage and mentor a team of Regional Sales Managers and Business Development professionals across international markets
- Drive commercial performance through clear KPIs, forecasting, and structured sales planning
- Identify new market opportunities and lead product-led growth initiatives
- Work closely with marketing to deliver effective campaigns and strengthen market positioning
- Oversee pricing strategy to ensure competitiveness and profitability
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and strategic accounts
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, finance, and leadership teams to align business objectives
- Represent the business at senior-level client meetings, industry events, and exhibitions
What we're looking for
- Proven leadership experience within global B2B product or solutions sales
- Experience operating in sectors such as maritime, offshore, engineering, or complex industrial environments is highly advantageous
- Strong track record of leading international sales teams and delivering growth
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and operate at board level
- Commercially astute with strong strategic and operational capability
- Experience with CRM systems and sales performance management tools
- Strong communication, leadership, and coaching skills
