Head Veterinary Nurse

Vet Finders

Head Vet Nurse. Brand New Practice. No After Hours. Love Where You Live. Tasmania. $80k - $100k DOE

Imagine finishing work at 5 pm and swapping the consulting room for pristine beaches, mountain trails and spectacular waterfront sunsets.

Pair that with a genuinely friendly team, a privately owned practice where your opinion truly matters, and the freedom to shape your role around the life you want to live, and you have the opportunity to build a career that's every bit as rewarding as your time outside of work.

Welcome to Brighton Veterinary Services.

Established in 2012, they’ve proudly cared for their local community and their pets for well over a decade.

They are now entering an exciting chapter in their journey, having recently moved into a purpose-built, state-of-the-art practice equipped with all the toys you'd expect from a progressive practice, and are looking to recruit an experienced Head Nurse to join their growing team.

This is a hands-on leadership role where your experience, positivity and sense of humour will be just as important as your clinical skills.

You'll be the person who somehow manages to keep all the plates spinning (without ever looking flustered!). You'll be the go-to for the nursing team, a trusted sounding board for the vets and the reassuring presence that helps everything run that little bit smoother.

One minute you'll be mentoring a newly qualified nurse, the next you'll be supporting a more complex case or making sure theatre is ready for whatever the day throws at you.  If you enjoy helping people grow, leading by example and being part of a genuinely supportive team, you'll fit right in.

With plans already underway to open a second clinic within the next 6–12 months, there will be genuine opportunities for career progression as the business continues to expand.
