This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Head Veterinary Surgeon to combine hands-on clinical work with leadership, developing colleagues, maintaining exceptional clinical standards and helping to shape the future of a practice in Lincoln. Supported by a collaborative leadership team, you'll have the opportunity to make a lasting impact on both the practice and the wider clinical team.


Location: The practice is based in Lincoln and easily commutable from Newark-on-Trent, Market Rasen, Gainsborough, Sleaford and Woodhall Spa. However ,there is a relocation package available for the right candidate! 


Salary: £75,000 - £90,000 DOE + Excellent Benefits including:

Role Overview:

  • Lead and support the veterinary team while maintaining a varied clinical caseload.
  • Deliver outstanding first-opinion consultations, diagnostics and surgery.
  • Drive clinical governance, mentoring and continuous improvement across the practice.
  • Work closely with the wider leadership team to enhance patient care and practice performance.
  • Encourage a collaborative, supportive and positive team culture.


What We're Looking For:


  • RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon with strong GP medical and surgical experience.
  • Previous leadership, mentoring or senior clinical experience.
  • Committed to maintaining exceptional clinical standards and supporting colleague development.
  • Confident communicator with excellent organisational skills.
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to support and develop a successful team.
  • Official Veterinarian (OV) status is desirable, although training can be supported.
