Location: Meldreth, Cambridgeshire
Salary: £77,676 - £85,547 per annum
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Hours: 40 hours per week

Simply Education are delighted to be working with a specialist SEN school in Meldreth to recruit an experienced and inspirational Headteacher.

The school supports young people aged 6-19 with complex learning difficulties, PMLD, physical disabilities and medical needs, providing a nurturing environment focused on achievement, independence and personal development.

As Headteacher, you will provide strong strategic, educational and operational leadership, working closely with the Principal and governing board to drive school improvement and deliver outstanding outcomes for students.

You will be responsible for:

• Leading the school's educational and operational performance
• Driving school improvement and maintaining high standards
• Overseeing safeguarding, quality assurance and compliance
• Leading, developing and managing staff
• Managing resources and supporting the school's financial performance
• Building strong relationships with staff, families and external stakeholders

We're looking for someone with:

• QTS and relevant senior leadership experience
• Experience within a specialist SEN setting, ideally ASD/PMLD
• Strong knowledge of Ofsted and safeguarding requirements
• Experience of quality assurance and staff performance management
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
• NPQH or willingness to work towards it is desirable
