Health and Safety Advisor - £50-55k + Car Allowance
Refurbishment / Fit Out / Maintenance

We are currently working with a highly-established, large scale and multidiscipline Construction organisation who are looking for a Health and Safety Advisor to join their team delivering refurbishment, fit-out and maintenance projects within the social housing / local authority sectors. This role will be dedicated to a key framework and contract covering sites across the North West. Primarily Greater Manchester, Cheshire, Merseyside, and Lancashire
They’re seeking a Health and Safety Advisor to take the reins on all things safety, site inspections, client / sub contractor meetings, accident investigation, driving compliance, and embedding a positive safety culture across the business.
What’s in it for you?
- Salary of £50,000 - £55,000
- Hybrid position – Typically 3 days on site, 1 day in a local office and 1 from home.
- Car allowance: £5,500

Your role will include:
- Carrying out day-to-day health and safety across multiple projects
- Carrying out site inspections and audits and associated reporting
- Investigating incidents and implementing improvements
- Attend client and contractor meetings
- Promote and implement a strong H&S culture
- Ensure full compliance with SHEQ policies, procedures, and legal requirements
- Complete SHEQ reporting, including incidents and KPIs
We’re looking for:
- NEBOSH Construction, NEBOSH General or equivalent
- Experience in Refurbishment, Fit out, Construction, Social Housing, Repairs and Maintenance or similar
- Have worked on live projects around the general public.
