What You Will Bring to the Team

The Essentials

  • Strong experience in an HSE/HSSE role, preferably within food or similar manufacturing environment.
  • Good working knowledge of UK health and safety and environmental legislation.
  • NEBOSH General Certificate.
  • IEMA Foundation Certificate in Environmental Management.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
  • Commitment to promoting a positive safety culture.
  • Passion for sustainability and environmental responsibility.
  • Strong organisational and record-keeping skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Confident communicator with a range of audiences.
  • Proactive and able to work independently.

The Desirables

  • Understanding of food manufacturing risks and controls.
  • IOSH, or equivalent qualification.
  • IEMA Associate Certificate in Environmental Management, or equivalent qualification/experience.
  • Food safety qualification at level 2 or 3.
  • Practical understanding of Streamlined Energy and Carbon Reporting (SECR) requirements.

Location & Travel
