Health and Safety Manager in Teesside

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Health and Safety Manager to join a business delivering industrial and commercial steel frame projects nationwide. This is a permanent position, based in Middlesbrough, with national travel required.

A specialist contractor operating within the industrial and commercial steel frame sector, delivering projects across the UK with a strong focus on safety, quality and compliance.

The Health and Safety Manager will be responsible for overseeing health and safety standards across multiple projects nationwide. Duties will include conducting site inspections and audits, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, developing and implementing safety policies, advising project teams and promoting a positive health and safety culture across all operations.

• Proven experience in a Health and Safety Manager or similar role within construction, ideally involving steel frame, industrial or commercial projects.
• Strong knowledge of current health and safety legislation and construction industry regulations.
• Experience conducting site audits, risk assessments and method statement reviews.
• Excellent communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills.
• NEBOSH Diploma qualification or equivalent is essential.
• Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel nationally.
