We are supporting a leading specialist utilities contractor in recruiting an experienced Health and Safety Manager. This hands-on role offers the opportunity to drive safety excellence and operational success across the South East region.

Responsibilities of the Interim Health and Safety Manager will include:

• Developing and implementing comprehensive HSE strategies across various projects.
• Ensuring compliance with UK safety legislation, ISO standards, and environmental regulations.
• Conducting risk assessments, safety audits, and incident investigations to proactively manage risks.
• Promoting continuous improvement initiatives to embed safety protocols.
• Delivering engaging HSE training to maintain high employee competency and safety awareness.

The successful candidate will have:

• Proven experience managing HSE in construction, utilities, or water sectors.
• NEBOSH certificate or equivalent qualification.
• Strong knowledge of UK safety legislation, ISO standards, and audit processes.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills to influence teams effectively.
