Health and Safety Manager – Manufacturing – Aldringham, Suffolk – £50,000 - £55,000 + Benefits Package

Principal People are delighted to be working exclusively with a well-established leading manufacturing organisation to recruit a Health and Safety Manager.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Health and Safety professional to join a fast-growing operational business and take ownership of health and safety across a busy production environment.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior leaders and operational teams to develop, implement and continuously improve the company's health and safety management systems. This is a highly visible role where you'll have the autonomy to influence safety culture, ensure legal compliance and make a genuine impact across the organisation.

The key duties include:

  • Leading and developing the company's health and safety policies and procedures across manufacturing and office environments.
  • Conducting and reviewing risk assessments to ensure hazards are effectively identified and controlled.
  • Maintaining a visible presence across site, supporting operational teams and promoting safe working practices.
  • Working closely with site managers and engineering teams to ensure compliance with health and safety legislation.
  • Driving a positive and proactive health and safety culture throughout the business.
  • Monitoring health and safety performance and producing reports for senior leadership.
  • Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and implementing practical safety solutions.
  • Supporting operational teams to balance compliance with efficient day-to-day operations.

  • A NEBOSH General Certificate.
  • Previous health and safety experience within a manufacturing or operational environments.
