Are you an experienced Health & Safety professional looking to join a market-leading construction logistics specialist delivering some of London's most prestigious refurbishment projects?

Our client is a well-established and highly respected construction logistics company that partners with major contractors across London. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a proactive and engaging Health & Safety Manager to oversee multiple sites and drive a positive safety culture across complex refurbishment projects.

The Role

As Health & Safety Manager, you will be responsible for supporting and monitoring health and safety performance across a portfolio of construction sites throughout London. Working closely with site teams, contractors, and project stakeholders, you will champion best practice, ensure compliance, and help create a safe working environment for all personnel.

This is a highly visible role that requires strong relationship-building skills and the ability to positively influence teams at all levels. The position offers the flexibility of one day per week working from home, with the remainder of your time spent visiting projects across London.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits across multiple London-based refurbishment projects.
  • Ensure compliance with current Health & Safety legislation and company procedures.
  • Work closely with contractors, site managers, and operational teams to promote a positive safety culture.
  • Provide practical advice and guidance on all Health & Safety matters.
  • Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
  • Deliver toolbox talks and safety briefings where required.
  • Review risk assessments and method statements.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across various project sites.
About You
  • Experience within a Health & Safety role in the construction sector.
  • Previous experience working with contractors on live construction sites.
  • Knowledge or experience of traffic management is highly advantageous.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to influence, challenge, and support operational teams.
  • NEBOSH qualification or equivalent.
  • Full UK driving licence preferred.
