We are currently recruiting caring and dedicated Healthcare Assistants to join the team on both day and night shifts. Key Responsibilities As a Healthcare Assistant, you will:
  • Provide high-quality person-centred care to residents.
  • Support residents with personal care, including washing, dressing, grooming, and continence care.
  • Assist with mobility and the safe use of equipment and aids.
  • Support residents with eating, drinking, and maintaining good nutrition.
  • Encourage independence while promoting dignity, privacy, and respect at all times.
  • Build positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • Monitor residents' wellbeing and report any changes or concerns to senior staff.
  • Assist with social activities and encourage residents to maintain their sense of identity and wellbeing.
  • Support household and domestic duties to help maintain a clean and comfortable environment.
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and safeguarding guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively during handovers.
Skills & Qualifications Required
  • Previous care experience is a MUST!!!!!
  • A caring, compassionate, and reliable nature.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with elderly residents.
  • Professional and respectful approach at all times.
  • Willingness to complete mandatory training and ongoing professional development.
  • Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of care.
  • Satisfactory DBS check.
