- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with management to promote a culture of safety within the organisation.
- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections and incident reports.
- Stay updated on changes in health and safety legislation and industry best practices.
Profile
A successful Health & Safety Advisor should have:
- A recognised qualification in health and safety, such as NEBOSH or equivalent.
- Experience within the industrial/manufacturing sector, particularly in health and safety roles.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication and training skills to engage with teams effectively.
- Proficiency in conducting risk assessments and safety audits.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and safety improvements.
