Health & Safety Advisor in Leeds, West Yorkshire

Up to £45,000 + Car/Car Allowance + Package

We are currently recruiting for a Health & Safety Advisor to support a well-established housing developer across multiple live developments throughout Yorkshire. This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking business with a strong focus on safety, quality, and employee wellbeing.

Reporting to the Regional Health & Safety Manager, you will provide hands-on support to operational teams across a portfolio of residential construction projects. You will play a key role in promoting a positive safety culture, ensuring compliance, and driving continuous improvement across the region.

• Conduct regular site inspections and health & safety audits
• Provide practical guidance and support to site management teams
• Promote compliance with company policies and UK health & safety legislation
• Assist with incident investigations and corrective action plans
• Review risk assessments, method statements, and site procedures
• Deliver toolbox talks and support workforce engagement initiatives
• Monitor contractor performance and site compliance standards
• Drive behavioural safety improvements across multiple developments

• NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent
• Previous Health & Safety experience within housebuilding, residential construction, or the wider construction sector
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to build credible relationships with operational teams
• Proactive, pragmatic, and solutions-focused approach
• Full UK driving licence

• Salary up to £45,000
