Are you ready to take ownership of Health, Safety and Environmental performance at a fast-growing manufacturing site where you can make a genuine difference?

We are seeking a Health, Safety and Environment Manager for a specialist heavy manufacturing/engineering site with a strong order book and exciting plans for continued growth. Reporting directly to the Head of HSE, this is a key position within the site leadership team, offering the opportunity to shape and develop HSE standards, drive continuous improvement and support the business through its next phase of growth.

You'll work closely with operational teams and senior stakeholders to maintain high standards of compliance, strengthen safety culture and ensure best practice is embedded across the operation. With a strong pipeline of work and long-term investment in the site, this role offers excellent career progression and the opportunity to have a real, lasting impact on a business that is going from strength to strength.

Responsibilities of the Health, Safety and Environment Manager will include:

• Supporting the Head of HSE in the management of activities across the site
• Supporting the development and implementation of ISO 50001, while maintaining and improving existing ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 standards
• Supporting incident investigations, risk assessments, audits and corrective actions, helping to drive continuous improvement and maintain high HSE standards
• Building strong relationships with operational teams and helping to embed a positive, proactive safety culture across the site

The ideal Health, Safety and Environment Manager will have:

• Proven experience managing Health, Safety and Environment within a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Strong working knowledge and practical application of relevant ISO standards
• NEBOSH General Certificate or an equivalent Health and Safety qualification
• Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and develop effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels
