We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Health & Safety Consultant / Fire Risk Advisor to join our team, delivering expert advice and support to our valued clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage your own portfolio of clients and schedule support visits in line with contractual requirements 
  • Conduct Health & Safety audits and Fire Risk Assessments, producing clear and practical action plans 
  • Support clients in implementing recommended actions and improvements 
  • Maintain and update client records via our bespoke online Health & Safety Management System 
  • Develop and review policies, processes, and procedures tailored to client needs 
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance service delivery, share industry knowledge, and improve internal resources 
  • Stay up to date with current UK Health & Safety legislation and best practices 

About You:
  • NEBOSH General Certificate, Diploma, Fire Certificate, or equivalent (minimum requirement) 
  • Proven experience in a Health & Safety advisory role and in completion of Fire Risk Assessments in a client-facing role.
  • Member of professional body, IOSH, IFSM etc. 
  • Professional, friendly and support approach to implementation of H&S requirements with clear understanding of legislation and best practice. 
  • Strong communication and organisational skills with the ability to influence leaders and workers in a variety of setting and industries. 
  • Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload 
  • Knowledge of, and experience in implementing, Management Systems, primarily H&S but knowledge in relation to Quality and Environmental management is a benefit.  
  • Full UK driving licence (essential due to travel requirements throughout Scotland)
