Hybrid – West End / home / client sites
Some people can talk about Health, Safety and Fire in a way that makes people listen. That is what this role needs.
We’re working with a highly regarded property risk management business based in the West End. They work across fire, safety, building compliance and wider risk, and their training team is growing.
This is a role for someone who enjoys getting technical knowledge out of their head and into a room full of people in a way that lands. Clients, internal teams, different levels of experience, different settings. You’ll need to be clear, confident and practical.
The role is hybrid. You’ll be in the London office a few days a week when training is being delivered, with the rest split between home and client sites.
What they need
You’ll need most of the following:
• NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent
• NEBOSH Fire / Level 3 Fire qualification
• Tech IOSH or equivalent membership
• Teaching qualification such as AET, PTLLS, IOSH Train the Trainer or similar
• Experience delivering Health, Safety and Fire training
First Aid training, IOSH delivery, NEBOSH delivery, course creation or online training through Teams would all help, but they are realistic that one person may not have every single thing.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll be delivering Health, Safety and Fire training to internal teams and external clients.
That will include:
• Delivering face-to-face and remote training
• Updating course materials
• Helping develop new training content
• Supporting training accreditations
• Giving clients clear H&S and fire advice
• Working with internal teams across the business
• Helping grow the training offering into new areas
The subject matter can be technical, but the delivery needs to feel useful, clear and engaging. Someone who can hold a room, read the audience and make the training feel relevant will do well here.
Why people tend to like this business
They invest in people. Good benefits, flexible working, support with training and a clear interest in helping people keep developing.
They can support further development including NUCO First Aid Instructor training, Level 4 Education and Training, and future NEBOSH Diploma development.
This could suit an existing Health, Safety or Fire Trainer, or someone from a fire safety, H&S, consultancy, instructor or tutor background where training has been a meaningful part of the role.
