Health & Safety Manager | Lower Thames Crossing | Major Infrastructure Project

We're recruiting for an experienced Health & Safety Manager to join one of the UK's most significant infrastructure projects– the Lower Thames Crossing.

This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in the safe delivery of the utilities diversion phase, working alongside an experienced project team on high-risk civil engineering works.

The Role:

  • Provide day-to-day Health & Safety support across the project.
  • Review RAMS and support safe planning and delivery of works.
  • Monitor site activities, identifying and addressing unsafe behaviours and conditions.
  • Work closely with operational teams and project leadership to drive a positive safety culture.
  • Support inspections, audits and incident investigations.
  • Promote continuous improvement in Health & Safety performance.

We're looking for someone with:

  • Proven Health & Safety management experience within utilities, civils or major infrastructure.
  • Strong knowledge of excavation works and avoiding underground services.
  • Experience working on high-risk construction projects.
  • NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent).
  • CMIOSH (desirable).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Pay & Hours:

Full-time, site-based until December. Flexible hours and WFH flexibility.
Inside IR35
Excellent rates
45 hour working week - no weekend and nights
