You will typically spend around three days per week travelling to projects across the region, generally within a 60–80-mile radius. When not visiting sites, you will be based at the company's Gloucester premises. This is not a remote or hybrid position.
Working closely with senior management and operational teams, you will provide practical health and safety guidance, ensure legislative compliance and help drive a positive safety culture throughout the business.

Conduct regular inspections and audits across live construction sites, identifying hazards and ensuring corrective actions are completed.
Prepare, review and approve Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
Maintain and review health and safety policies, procedures and safe systems of work.
Support compliance with UK health and safety legislation and relevant contractor accreditation schemes.
Develop and deliver toolbox talks and coordinate health and safety training.
Maintain training records and competence matrices.
Lead investigations into accidents, incidents and near misses, including RIDDOR reporting where applicable.
Assess subcontractor competence and monitor health and safety compliance on site.
Produce regular performance reports and monitor key health and safety KPIs.
Promote continuous improvement and a positive, practical safety culture.

Proven Health & Safety experience within the construction industry.
NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate, or equivalent.
Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation.
Experience conducting site inspections and audits.
Confident preparing and reviewing RAMS.
Good understanding of working-at-height and other higher-risk construction activities.
Confident communicator, comfortable engaging with site teams and senior management.
Full UK driving licence and comfortable with regular regional travel.
