Health & Safety Manager

We are currently seeking an experienced Health & Safety Manager to join a well-established and highly reputable contractor working on a major flagship project in Berkshire.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Health & Safety professional with a strong background in data centres, M&E, or complex construction projects, who is confident managing project teams and driving high standards of health and safety across a major site.

As Health & Safety Manager, you will take a leading role in managing health and safety across the project, working closely with project management, site teams, subcontractors and senior stakeholders.

You will be responsible for ensuring the project is delivered to the highest possible health and safety standards while providing strong leadership and guidance to the wider project team.

• Proven experience as a Health & Safety Manager within a major construction environment.
• Mandatory data centre and/or M&E experience.
• Proven ability to lead and manage a project H&S team.
• Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation and construction regulations.
• IOSH qualification - mandatory.
• NVQ Level 4 in Occupational Health & Safety - mandatory.
• Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills.
• Experience working on large, complex and high-profile projects.
