Health & Safety Manager

We're looking for a Health & Safety Manager to provide strategic Health & Safety leadership. This candidate will design, implement, and maintain robust Health & Safety systems and best practice standards, ensuring full compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, approved codes of practice and industry standards.
Work collaboratively with senior leaders and operational managers to drive continuous improvement in Health & Safety performance across all areas of responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits across all operational locations.
- Facilitate Health & Safety meetings and forums at site level on a recurring basis.
- Support customer and project meetings where required, contributing to Health & Safety discussions within a business development context.
- Drive the adoption of new technologies and systems to enhance Health & Safety management and reporting.
- Represent the organisation at external Health & Safety meetings, workshops, and client forums as required.
- Lead the investigation of incidents and accidents, ensuring timely response, reporting and the development of corrective actions.
- Provide detailed feedback, insights and recommendations to senior leadership following investigations or significant events.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) roles
- Chartered Membership of IOSH (CMIOSH) with Diploma level qualification
- Minimum 10 years’ experience within the construction or built environment sector
