A forward-thinking andrapidly growing organisation is seeking an experienced Group Health & Safety Manager to lead and drive its health, safety, and wellbeing strategy across multiple business operations. Your new role
As Group Health & Safety Manager, you will take ownership of the organisation's Health & Safety Management System, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and driving continuous improvement across the group.
Key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing, implementing and maintaining a scalable Health & Safety Management System.
  • Ensuring compliance with UK and international health and safety legislation.
  • Leading ISO 45001 compliance activities, audits and certification maintenance.
  • Conducting risk assessments, inspections, accident investigations and reporting.
  • Supporting acquisitions through health and safety due diligence processes.
  • Delivering health and safety training, guidance and support to employees at all levels.
  • Managing emergency arrangements, including first aid and fire warden programmes.
  • Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external regulatory bodies.
  • Supporting the ongoing development of a positive health, safety and wellbeing culture across the organisation.
  • Undertaking occasional UK and international travel as required.


What you'll need to succeed
To be successful inthis role, you will have:

  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent Level 6 Health & Safety qualification.
  • IOSH membership.
  • Proven experience implementing and managing ISO 45001 management systems.
  • Previous experience in a senior Health & Safety position.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety legislation and compliance requirements.
  • Experience conducting audits, investigations and risk assessments.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • The ability to influence, challenge and support colleagues at all levels of the business.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.


Experience operating across multi-site or international environments would be advantageous, as would additional language skills.
