Health & Safety Manager in Stockton, Warwickshire

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Health & Safety Manager to join an established company specialising in the manufacture and fabrication of vehicle bodies in Stockton.

This is a full-time, permanent position offering an excellent opportunity for an experienced H&S professional to take responsibility for maintaining and developing health & safety standards across the business.

The Role:

• Managing day-to-day health & safety across the site
• Ensuring compliance with current H&S legislation
• Developing and maintaining H&S policies and procedures
• Carrying out risk assessments, audits and site inspections
• Investigating incidents and implementing corrective actions
• Providing H&S guidance, training and support to employees and management
• Promoting a strong health & safety culture throughout the business

The Candidate:

• Previous experience in a Health & Safety Manager or H&S Advisor role
• Preferably experience within the automotive, vehicle manufacturing or engineering sector
• NEBOSH qualification or equivalent is desirable
• Strong knowledge of H&S legislation and best practice
• Experience within a manufacturing or fabrication environment would be advantageous
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Proactive approach with the ability to work independently and influence others
