• Review site arrangements and identify practical actions that reduce health and safety risks.
• Carry out site inspections and report findings clearly to support consistent safety standards.
• Develop and maintain health and safety procedures for construction activities and site operations.
• Work with operational teams to put safe working methods into practice across active projects.
• Investigate health and safety incidents, record findings and help prevent similar events from happening again.
• Monitor health and safety performance and provide clear updates for relevant stakeholders.
• Promote safe behaviours across traffic management and highways work, supporting positive day-to-day practice.

Profile

A successful 'Health & Safety Manager' should have:

• Experience of managing health and safety within construction-related operations.
• Knowledge of health and safety requirements across traffic management and highways activities.
• Ability to carry out site inspections and turn findings into clear, practical actions.
• Experience of reviewing incidents and producing accurate reports.
• Confidence developing and maintaining health and safety procedures.
• Ability to work closely with operational teams on safe working practices.

Job Offer

• Permanent Health & Safety Manager position based in Tipton region.
• Salary of £49,500 to £60,500, dependent on the level of experience.
