We're looking for a proactive Health & Safety Advisor to support compliance, reduce workplace risks, and promote a positive safety culture across the organisation. This role sits within te Public Sector
Key Responsibilities
- Provide health & safety advice and guidance to managers and employees.
- Conduct audits, inspections and risk assessments.
- Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses.
- Support HSE reporting and corrective actions.
- Review and update policies, procedures and safe systems of work.
- Deliver health & safety training and awareness.
- Maintain accurate safety records and documentation.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in a Health & Safety Advisor/Officer role.
- Strong knowledge of UK health & safety legislation.
- Experience carrying out risk assessments and investigations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
Desirable
- NEBOSH General Certificate.
- IOSH membership.
- Public sector or estates/facilities experience.
