Health & Work Coach in Lewisham, Greater London

Good Afternoon,

I am currently representing Lewisham Council who are offering an initial temporary contract for a period of 6 months with a view to be extended or offered a permanent position for the right candidate at a rate which is negotiable dependent upon experience

We are looking for a Health & Work Coach  this role will be based at: SE6 4RU, Will be Leemore Centre and community sites eg GP practices Hybrid 3 days in office.

The right candidate will:

• Assessing a persons employability and wellbeing, using such tools as the EQ5DL
• Creating personalised action plans with participants, 
• Providing referrals and/or signposting to other suitable support services, 
• Providing health and wellbeing advice, 
• Providing career guidance, 
• Offering employment advice (e.g. CVs, job search, interview techniques), 
• Helping participants identify workplace adjustments to support health needs, 
• Carrying out health and wellbeing assessments. 

We require the following:

• Significant experience of effective partnership working with individuals and organizations  to deliver relevant high quality local provision.
• Experience of using IT systems e.g. CRM, Teams, Sharepoint, and Oracle to support delivery of projects and programmes.
• Knowledge of key stakeholders in health, wellbeing, employment and training in Lewisham, including internal teams and external partners.
