Healthcare Assistant (HCA)

We are looking for a caring, reliable and motivated Healthcare Assistant (HCA) to join our friendly and supportive team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HCA who takes pride in providing high-quality, person-centred care and wants to develop their career within a supportive healthcare environment.

The Role

As a Healthcare Assistant, you will work closely with our clinical team to support patients and contribute to the smooth and effective delivery of care.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing compassionate, respectful and person-centred care to patients.
• Supporting clinicians with routine clinical duties and patient care.
• Recording observations and undertaking relevant clinical checks within your competency.
• Preparing treatment and consultation areas.
• Maintaining accurate and confidential patient records.
• Supporting the wider team with the day-to-day running of the service.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure patients receive an excellent standard of care.

We are looking for someone who is:

• An experienced Healthcare Assistant with a genuine passion for patient care.
• Experience with phlebotomy, ECG, Spiro, woundcare and healthchecks
• Friendly, approachable and compassionate.
• Reliable, organised and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Confident communicating with patients and colleagues.
• Able to work calmly and professionally in a busy healthcare environment.

Previous experience within a GP practice, primary care or a similar clinical setting would be advantageous but not essential
