Healthcare Assistant

Job Type: Part-Time / Zero-Hour contract

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, person-centred personal care to residents.
• Assist residents with daily living activities, including washing, dressing, eating, and mobility.
• Support residents with dignity, respect, and compassion.
• Observe and report any changes in residents’ health, wellbeing, or behaviour.
• Maintain accurate daily care records and documentation.
• Follow all health, safety, safeguarding, and infection-control procedures.
• Work effectively with residents, families, and other members of the care team.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant, Support Worker, or Carer is preferred.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a care home environment.
• Relevant training and DBS clearance are desirable.
