heating specialist based near Ely, Cambridgeshire. With over 14 years’ experience, they
design, install, and maintain heat pumps, solar PV, battery storage, underfloor heating,

Heat Pump Technical Engineer Responsibilities
• Support the Sales Manager with technical customer quotations for heat pump and
renewable energy projects
• Review and price incoming tenders for the Sales Manager to quote
• Carry out heat loss calculations from plans and technical drawings
• Assist with basic solar PV set-ups for quotation purposes
• Carry out final site surveys and technical assessments for renewable energy
installations
• Support the Project Manager by responding to engineer and installer queries
• Provide technical solutions to installation challenges and project queries
• Audit completed jobs to ensure installations are delivered in line with company
standards and industry regulations
• Ensure all technical documentation is accurate and maintained correctly
• Liaise with customers, installers, engineers, and internal teams to support smooth
project delivery
• Maintain a strong focus on quality, compliance, and operational efficiency

Heat Pump Technical Engineer Requirements
• Previous experience within heating, plumbing, renewable energy, or heat pump
installations
• Strong technical understanding of heat pump systems and low-temperature
heating design
• Ability to carry out heat loss calculations from plans
• Experience reading and interpreting drawings, plans, and technical specifications
• Excellent communication skills when dealing with customers, engineers, and
internal teams
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage technical documentation
accurately
• Experience in a technical support, estimating, design, surveying, or project
support role advantageous

Heat Pump Technical Engineer Remuneration
• Salary £50,000 - £60,000
• Company vehicle
