Caritas Recruitment is recruiting for experienced Social Workers to join Buckinghamshire's Help & Protection Teams, with vacancies available in High Wycombe and Aylesbury.
These locality-based teams work with children and families requiring support, safeguarding intervention and child protection planning, offering social workers the opportunity to develop meaningful relationships and deliver long-term positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of Child in Need, Child Protection and Court cases.
- Complete assessments, plans and interventions in line with statutory requirements.
- Undertake direct work with children and families to improve outcomes and reduce risk.
- Participate in Child Protection Conferences, Core Groups and multi-agency meetings.
- Work collaboratively with partner agencies to deliver effective support plans.
- Ensure children's voices remain central to all assessments and decision-making.
Requirements:
- Social Work England Registration.
- Experience within Children's Safeguarding, Child Protection or Locality Teams.
- Strong assessment, planning and risk management skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with children, families and professionals.
