Caritas Futures is proud to be partnering with a leading organisation supporting individuals and families affected by gambling-related harm. We are currently recruiting for a number of fully remote, rota-based positions across their national support services.

The Role
You will be part of a dedicated team providing confidential, non-judgemental support to individuals affected by their own gambling or the gambling of a loved one. As the first point of contact, you will deliver emotional support, undertake risk assessments, identify safeguarding concerns, and help service users access appropriate support pathways.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support via telephone, live chat, and online platforms.
- Complete risk, welfare, and needs assessments, including safeguarding and crisis intervention.
- Deliver person-centred emotional and practical support to service users.
- Support individuals with complex needs, including mental health challenges, substance misuse, addiction, and financial difficulties.
- Signpost and refer individuals to specialist support services and treatment providers.
- Moderate online forums and digital support spaces where required.
Essential Requirements
We are keen to hear from candidates with experience as:
- Substance Misuse Practitioner
- Mental Health Practitioner
- Gambling Harm Practitioner
- Recovery Worker
- Helpline Advisor
- Addiction Practitioner
- Crisis Worker
You will also have:
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding and risk assessment.
- Experience supporting vulnerable adults and individuals with complex needs.
- Excellent communication and active listening skills.
- The ability to work independently within a remote environment.
- Flexibility to work rota-based shifts, including evenings and weekends where required.
- Availability to start ASAP.
