HGV 1 Driver

We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join our client based in Kirkby on a temp to perm basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable driver looking for a long-term position with a well-established company.

What's on Offer:

• £18.00 per hour
• Temp to Perm
• Monday to Friday working pattern
• Occasional Saturday work available (pre-agreed in advance)
• Long-term career opportunity

The Role:

• Class 1 driving with multi-drop deliveries across the UK
• 2–3 nights out per week (this is not a full-time tramping role)
• Securing all loads using ratchet straps
• Completing deliveries safely, efficiently, and on time
• Ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately
• Adhering to all drivers' hours and transport regulations

Requirements:

• Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Experience securing loads with ratchet straps
• A good understanding of drivers' hours regulations
• Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious approach to work
