HGV Class 1 Night Driver

Location: Andover
Salary: £43,796.04 per annum
Contract: Permanent, Full Time – 50 Hours per Week
Shift Pattern: Nights
Start Time: 16:00

Pyramid Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 1 Night Driver to join a leading logistics company on a permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a professional driver looking for secure, long-term employment with a guaranteed 50-hour contract and a consistent 16:00 start time.

The Role

As an HGV Class 1 Night Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of cage-based loads to customer locations, ensuring all deliveries are completed efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of safety and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete scheduled deliveries and collections to customer sites.
• Safely transport and unload cage-based deliveries.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
• Ensure all paperwork and delivery records are completed accurately.
• Comply with Drivers' Hours Regulations, the Working Time Directive and all road transport legislation.
• Maintain a professional and courteous approach when dealing with customers.
• Keep vehicles clean, safe and roadworthy.

The Ideal Candidate MUST Have

• A valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Driving Licence.
• A valid Driver CPC qualification.
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• A minimum of 12 months' HGV Class 1 driving experience.
• A hard-working attitude.
• Excellent punctuality and timekeeping.
• A positive, can-do attitude.
• Be reliable, professional and committed to delivering excellent service.
