HGV 1 Night Drivers - Widnes

🚛 Class 1 Drivers Required - Widnes - 🚛

Average weekly pay £964.50 to £1059.00 + Holiday accrual, up to 28 days holiday.

Blue Arrow is recruiting Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for ongoing work based in Widnes. Immediate starts. Paid assessments available week commencing 24th August, 31st Aug & 7 September.

💷 Pay Rates

· Monday to Friday: £19.00 per hour

· Saturday: £20.45 per hour

· Sunday: £20.45 per hour

📅 Shift Patterns

· Tuesday to Saturday OR Wednesday to Sunday

· Start times between 19:00 and 03:00

· Average 10-12-hour shifts

· Ad hoc shifts & Weekend only work available

· Ongoing, continuous work with opportunity for permanent contracts.

🚚 The Role

· Store deliveries

· 1 to 3 drops per shift

· All vehicles are pre-loaded

· Goods are delivered in cages

· Drivers take cages to the edge of the tail lift and lower the lift

· Store staff unload the cages from the tail lift

· Minimal manual handling compared with traditional multi-drop work

✅ Requirements

· Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence

· Valid CPC and Digi Card

· Minimum 3 month's Class 1 driving experience

· Must complete a site induction before starting
