HGV Class 2 Driver – Avonmouth

£32,500 per annum | Monday to Friday | Permanent Position | No Handball

M4 Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join one of our valued clients based in Avonmouth.

This is an excellent opportunity to secure a permanent role with a well-established company offering regular weekday work, no handball, and immediate interviews.

The Role

As an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will:

• Complete 4–8 deliveries per day across Avonmouth and the surrounding areas

• Deliver palletised goods, with all deliveries unloaded by forklift – no handball required

• Carry out daily vehicle safety checks

• Complete delivery paperwork accurately

• Deliver excellent customer service

• Comply with all transport legislation, driver hours, and health & safety procedures

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday

• Start time: 6:00am

• Finish times typically between 5:00pm and 6:00pm, depending on the day's deliveries

• No scheduled weekend work

Salary & Benefits

• £32,500 per annum

Requirements

To be considered, you'll need:

• A valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence

• A valid Driver CPC qualification

• A valid Digital Tachograph Card

• Previous HGV Class 2 driving experience

• A good understanding of driver hours and working time regulations

• A reliable, professional, and customer-focused attitude

• You will need a minimum of 2 years experience due to insurance purposes

• No more than 6 penalty points (preferred)
