HGV 2 Multidrop Driver in Sittingbourne

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Class 2 Driver to join a busy delivery team. You will be responsible for transporting goods safely, completing deliveries efficiently and providing a professional service to customers.
Your responsibilities
- Complete deliveries and collections according to the daily schedule.
- Carry out vehicle checks before each shift and report any faults promptly.
- Ensure loads are secure and goods are handled carefully.
- Assist with loading and unloading where required, following safe working procedures.
- Accurately complete delivery paperwork and obtain proof of delivery (POD).
- Keep the transport team informed of delays or delivery issues.
- Follow drivers’ hours, tachograph and road safety requirements.
- Maintain a clean vehicle and represent the company professionally.
- A valid Category C driving licence.
- A current Driver CPC qualification and digital tachograph card.
- Previous Class 2 delivery experience.
- Experience completing and managing proof of delivery (POD) records is essential.
- A safe and responsible approach to driving.
- Good organisation and communication skills.
- A polite, helpful manner when dealing with customers.
