HGV C+E Night Driver

Driver Resource are currently seeking to recruit Class 1 Drivers (HGV/LGV) to work on an ongoing basis contract with one of our Client in Mercia Park.

Class 1 driver (HGV/LGV C+E Drivers) Pay rates; 

Monday – Friday £17.38 standard hours (06:00 – 20:00)

£20.32 unsociable hours (20:00 – 06:00)

All rates are exclusive of holiday pay which the Cadidate will accrue separately.

Job description:

Handball work – cages, loose items – not heavy.

Delivering to Car showroom retailers through the night.

Using scanner to POD freight once loaded and delivered.

Placing freight into lock ups and storage places using keys and alarm pads to access.

Following set route and adhering to “just-in-time” drops.

Full compliance with our client policy - use of Sat NAV/Snooper, WTD, Driving hours.

Safe Work instructions

Adhere to our client drivers handbook

Full training will be given.

Must have a good understanding of English and be a good communicator, paperwork involved.
