Hours: 37 hours per week (Sunday – Thursday | Night Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities of the HGV Chargehand / PSV Chargehand / Senior HGV Technician
- Supervise and support engineering staff throughout the night shift.
- Allocate planned and reactive maintenance work across the workshop.
- Diagnose, service and repair PSV vehicles to the highest standards.
- Carry out fault finding and ensure vehicles are safe, compliant and roadworthy.
- Monitor vehicle defect reporting and workshop documentation.
- Liaise with Operations to minimise vehicle downtime and maximise fleet availability.
- Support the Workshop Manager and Engineering Management Team when required.
- NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle or PSV Maintenance.
- Experience as a PSV Technician, HGV Technician or Commercial Vehicle Technician.
- Previous Chargehand, Team Leader or supervisory experience is desirable.
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence (PCV licence desirable or support available to obtain one).
