HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers – Day & Night Shifts Available

Location: Manchester & Surrounding Areas

Pay: £18.49 - £22.80 per hour

Resolve Recruitment Services are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for day and night shift opportunities across Manchester and the surrounding areas.

Who Will You Be Working With?

You will be joining a highly respected logistics operation known for delivering reliable and efficient transport solutions. With a strong focus on safety, professionalism, and driver support, this is a fantastic opportunity for experienced HGV Drivers looking for consistent work and long-term opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely transport goods across the UK, following planned routes and delivery schedules.
  • Complete vehicle checks before and after each shift, reporting any defects.
  • Maintain accurate records including delivery paperwork, driving hours, and mileage.
  • Communicate effectively with the transport team regarding any delays or issues.
  • Ensure loads are secure and comply with legal and company standards.
  • Provide excellent customer service while representing the company professionally.

Requirements

  • Valid UK C+E (Class 1) driving licence with minimal penalty points.
  • Valid Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
  • Minimum 18 months’ HGV Class 1 driving experience.
  • General haulage experience preferred but not essential.
  • Good knowledge of UK roads and transport regulations.
  • Ability to work independently with strong time management skills.
  • Flexibility to work day or night shifts, including occasional weekends.
