About the Role

Best Time Ltd is currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) and HGV Class 2 (Category C) Drivers on behalf of a number of established clients across the South of England.

We have a variety of assignments available, including temporary, ongoing, ad hoc and temp-to-perm opportunities, offering flexible working patterns to suit your availability.

Whether you're looking for full-time work, additional shifts, or a route into permanent employment, we have opportunities available immediately.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out deliveries and collections safely and efficiently
  • Complete daily vehicle safety checks
  • Load and unload goods where required
  • Complete delivery paperwork and use handheld devices where applicable
  • Deliver excellent customer service
  • Comply with all road transport legislation and health & safety procedures

Requirements

  • Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) or HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence
  • Licence held for a minimum of 1 year
  • Minimum 1 year's driving experience in the relevant licence category
  • Valid Driver CPC (DQC Card)
  • Digital Tachograph Card
  • Maximum of 6 penalty points
  • No DD, DR, CD, DG or TT endorsements
  • Professional, reliable and safety-conscious approach
